All below are two different 1881-CC’s. I want you to guess the grade for each and which one is the overall higher grade.
I will post glam shots first and then side by side in the same lighting tomorrow in the PM. Also to note one of these coins got the CAC sticker. Can you guess which one.

Top one got the CAC sticker, I'm going with PF64 on that one.
I'm tempted to go with PL on the second one but I'm going to stay on the safe side and go with MS66

Side by side shows a little more.

coin #1, originally thought 64PL. drop it to 63PL due to visible chatter. Maybe 62PL.

coin #2, originally thought 66. Drop it to 65, maybe 64.... just depending on those 2 unfortunate hits

    They are both incredibly beautiful.

Based on the second set of photos of the obverse, I must lower my grade estimates. The original pictures made the coins look far higher in grade than the second set. I would call coin #1 now a 64, and coin #2 a 63. It is all in the photographs. Which set is accurate?

    Original photos:
65...semi-pl but not quite enough for PL
    66...cleaner than the first

    Updated photos:
63...cheek looks a lot more baggy
64+...some of the hits/marks look more severe than I thought
