    I found 2 rolls of Kennedys in my brothers' stash from 2 years ago, been going thru piecemeal every chance I get...found this today.

    Here's a close-up of the stars under AM/AMERICA...taken with a pen light shooting up under the lip of my scope. This is how I confirm suspected doubling.

    I found 29 40% Kennedys in the 2 rolls, the newest coin was 1979. These were in my brothers' safe since then, no 1970s. Plenty of mint state clad but lot's of AU55s too.
    Just had to share, not everyday you find a DDR...enjoy everyone...they are out there.

    The coins produced by doubled dies are usually referred to as “varieties”. Yes, creating a doubled die is technically an error, but most collectors, numismatists and coin expert authors agree to use the word “variety”...imo...Spark
