I got this Buff and it's in an OLD PCGS slab...I think its a good for it grade but might get up'ed one point if sent back in...its not worth the re-grading fee or I would but what do you think it grades... After a few people guess I'll tell what PCGS has on it... It has great luster--not a lot of digs or marks...and the ones that are there you don't see too good... Speedy
My guess AU-58 because of weakness on buffalo tail, front leg shoulder area, horn, ear tip, and hair above indians hair ribbon. In my experiences with PCGS they have always graded hard.
Ranchhand--OldDan--GDJMSP You guys agree with me...I saw M--PCGS graded it MS--its in a rattle slab...it was my first UNC Buff and at the time I wasn't look for one but was out of town for a few days and at a fleamarket some guy had it...didn't want much and I thought it was good for the grade maybe a plus...so I got it...I'm glad I did. Thanks again ya'll Speedy
I would also guess it's a 4, that rim ding on the rev is really holding it back. Nice coin!! I'm jealous.
Hey Cave Troll I pulled out the coin and looked and there isn't a rim nick like it looks in the photo...the nick is part of the PCGS old holders--at least that is what it looks like... Thanks for the 4--I'm glad I was right on this one Speedy
Yep--MS63...I had typed the post before I posted it and put "--"in where I should have put 63 and 64.... Speedy
Might but if I ever do send it in it will go to ANACS and I think I heard they were hard on Buffs.. Speedy
Whooo!!! I have that exact same coin a 1935 with the same die wear and the same grade, in a pcgs rattler holder
