I am wondering if anyone is aware of any SE errors. I imagine that small strike-throughts exist, but are there any major errors such as clips, off center, double struck, etc.?

I am guessing that the manufacturing method and handling of he coins precludes these errors, but I am curious if anyone knows of these.

Yes there are...Strike throughs are are worth a lot but the bigger the more...I have found about 5 and they are not mine but I have gotten to see them and such...there is ONE major error known on a ASE...and that is a rotated die...a big rotated....grease filled dies...and such...but other than that not much...

I have never heard of a clips but I would bet there is one or some out there...off center I wouldn't bet on...doubled struck...I doubt that...the mint seems to care more and look more at the Silver coins...

Ask and ye shall see....both were sent to ANACS and came back struck thru...one was found by me and the other was found by my Bro-in-law...
