Hi, I have received a few coins that have washed out on the beach near me, and am curious where they are from and if they are worth anything? I have : Southern Rhodesia - one penny - 1938 (with the hole) Deutsch Ostafrika - 1 heller - 1907 British West Africa – Edward VS VIII Rex Et Ind:Imp – one penny -1936 (with hole in and star diagram) South African – 1D (ship on it) - guys head on other side - 1941 Georgivs III Dei Gratia (guys head on it) – In memory of the good old days (Some coat of arms) – 1788 One penny 1915 – looks roman, guy sitting with shield and trident – Dei Gra:Brit:Omn: Rex Any info would be more than welcome . As to value, it would be very minimal. You have identified all but the last 2 and they are from Great Britain.
The next to the last is what is known as a spade guinea token. It was a counting piece either used in games (kind of like we would a poker chip) or as an accounting aid. There are over a thousand different varieties but values are minimal, just a couple dollars apiece.
