Just noticed i put an a instead of an e in womenwait I just remembered don't they still mean the same thing.
Obverse, left to right, top row to bottom row: 1. Wasn’t this a previously proposed design? Probably would strike up the best of all the options. 2. Too 1982 commemorative like. 3. Grumpy George. I like Grumpy Cat better. 4. I like this the best, but it’s just a well drawn and shaded pencil drawing. Probably would not look the same after striking. 5. Meh. Same concerns as 4. Less appealing. 6. Pretty much a mirror image of 5. 7. Has merit. Have to think about it. 8. Too 1982 commemorative again. Also don’t like the date in the center of the design. 9. Please God no. We already have Jefferson looking out a porthole. 10. One Dollar Bill looking the other way 11. “Heil, Washington!” No. The reverse designs I think show more promise. I’m still thinking on those but they all adequately honor Angelou, except the last one. More commemorative of origami. Rick L.
Mostly agree with Rick on obverse. I like #4 too. For reverse, I'm not too keen except for maybe #3, #4, and #5.
Most of the obverses are alright but if they choose any of them other than Laura Fraser's design, it's a mistake. For Maya Angelou, I like design 4. The rest are varying degrees of 'okay.'
