are u.s. coins more attractive from that of europe or any other countries?. let's not talk about prices. let's talk about design. i see u.k., italy, and some other countries have beautiful coins than us. many also say that our stamps can't compare with world stamps. our stamps are ugly.
Since beauty is in the eye of the beholder - a matter of personal taste - there is no way to answer such a question except as a matter of personal opinion. But since since you asked - my opinion is that none of the modern designs, worldwide, can hold a candle to those of past ages
u.s. versus foreign i still think british and italian coinage always attracted me. french, austria, germany were alright.
I would extend this critique to paper money, also. Much of the pre-1900 U.S. currency had superior artwork to the 1900-to-current offerings, IMHO.
Look at Canadian, Australian, and UK coinage, especially the one ounce bullion "coins," and we (the U.S.) can't come close.
uk bullion coin i like uk bullion coin. its design is fantastic and beautiful. and it changes every year. like american eagle platinum.
