1957-D Roosevelt Dime

    I have a 1957-D dime and i'm really not sure of it's value. Is there anyone who can help???

    By the wear on the torch on the reverse, I'd say it is worth just the bullion it has. At present, you might get $1.25 for it.

    silver is at 18.80/oz. coinflation says that at 18.40 there is 1.33 worth of silver. its not worth a cent over that, but you could get close to that from someone who buys them for the silver content.

    Don't forget that when they figure values they are adding in the value of the ten percent copper.

    Plus that is spot price. You probably will only get bid price when you sell.

    I learned something new about dimes...the mintmark beside the torch...what year did they change that?
