Hello and Welcome ! Can you provide full pics ? Just upload files and click FULL IMAGE . Need help ? Just ask .
Welcome to CT. It looks like your coin has mechanical doubling. This is caused when the die shifts slightly during the strike and it's not unusual to find these. Here is a link that explains the difference between true doubled dies and the non-value added MD. http://www.doubleddie.com/144801.html It takes some time to learn how to tell the difference, but looking at real doubled dies helps (The linked site has lots of pics). If you're going to look for errors in change, understanding the difference will save you a lot of time.
Do I Jefferson nickel accept me as your loving penny(yes I do)you may kiss the zilincon while its still there!!!!.
It was supposed to say a double eye on the Jefferson nickel. This pic is from a 1968 dime that is still in the Mint set in the plastic when you get a p&d and it's still in there
looks like a strike-through. If its still in mint plastic, that's a nice error. It happens when there's no coin in between the die when it strikes and the die hits itself causing the reverse to appear on the obv. and the other way around.
Yes it's still in the plastic still in the Mint set first time I've seen one like that I don't know what the letters are and it looks like a small building or something in front of his nose I don't know what the hell it is
