1964 rosevelt dime or penny

    Hello,
    Just curious about this coin it is the same size as a dime but the back is that of a penny back...

    It's a fake. A dime had its reverse face ground off. Then a cent whose rim was trimmed away and whose obverse was ground off was glued to the back of the dime. These fakes are rather common.

    Not a "fake" as such but a magicians coin. I have one with a Merc dime and old cent.

    OK, here's the question for the coin techies out there.....how much is the silver content worth of half a 1964 dime? :D
