That is correctly graded. Not cleaned, and has decent luster. It is not gem grade. You had best learn to grade, before submitting coins arbitrarily. I would have graded it 62-63.

There are MS65+ coins sold at auction that look far worse than this one

Isn't grading the coin the job of the grading companies??

Isn’t knowledge of grading before purchasing the responsibility of the purchaser?

@Jennifer Bond may I ask how long you’ve been collecting and your knowledge base on grading? I’m not being a wise guy.

Been collecting for a few years... I have a very large collection at this point.. I went heavy at first as I had quite a bit of disposable income before covid.. My knowledge of grading comes from looking at previously graded coins from PCGS and NGC... But the grades that I received back are absolutely NOTHING like the coins I have seen graded much higher..

One thing I’ve learned is I know just enough to be dangerous to my wallet. I’ve collected for many years, but have never been great at grading but getting better. I think you should just take a breath and see where some knowledgeable folks here have offered some good advice.
It may not be the advice you were hoping for, but one things for sure most folks here will be honest (brutally at times) not only here but most coin forums.
I do know looking at graded coins in pictures are a whole different world than holding a graded coin in hand to inspect and compare.
Don’t give up. Relax and try to understand folks normally do like to help.

You gave the forum the photos and asked the question. Now you say that they can't accurately assess because of the format that you presented them with. I don't understand.
