Hahaha. Again, I recall thinking to myself: I'll be more than happy to buy the ANACS ones for $30! They're just 2009-S pennies!!! (Not a rare vintage coin.) How far apart could the two grading companies be?! And take a look at the pics. The ANACS ones look better! LOL.

Could you have sent the '67 to them with the coin still in its holder? (I've never ever sent a coin to a TPG, so I don't know.) Wonder if that would affect their assessment.

Government packaging yes but after market holders I wouldn’t. How it’s sent for raw coins makes no difference grade wise other than protection in shipment. Anything could have been cleaned at any time especially in after market holders

Wait... there's such a thing as Certified Coin Tubes? I didn't even know. Never saw one before.

Honestly the only year/set i've seen it done for.. i got em cheap back in 2010 after all the bulk submissions looking for those 70s lol i think you can still pick up a set like this for around 100.... The hard part is not opening the tubes to look for the errors lol

Things right from the mint yea you can get a this is legit at this time one. They aren’t graded though also you gotta be a big submitter and do it in bulk.

Please bare with me and pardon my ignorance... I'm scratching my head. If you open up the tubes, then obviously, the grade is no longer guaranteed. But then that means you can never look at the coins?

But aren't all those tubes in the photo graded MS65 or better? I've never seen this before. Learned and seen so many cool stuff at CoinTalk.

pretty much that's it open em and they just a roll of BU pennies, but you can expect them to grade well if you thought it was worth it..

You don't see them very often, but yes the services have been slabbing rolls since around 2003.

I am new to slab submissions. I joined PCGS at the gold level because London Coin Company uses them instead of LCGS.
So my firtst submission will be all British from 1662 to 1946 with a couple of Bull listed esc numbers for varieties.
Am I backing the right horse here?

In the future I would suggest doing the platinum level, the vouchers are worth more than the cost so you actually save money if you use them right.

Well... Here is a prime example of why NOT to use ANACS... I'm attaching a picture of the front and back of my "AU 55" coin. Along with a few screenshots of coins graded AU55 from PCGS and NGC..

I use the RBGS and I'm never disappointed.
Gee they even go as far as "If the coin don't fit, make it fit" RBGS GRADING SERVICE.jpg

The clads are more expensive than the silver ikes, so no actually.

Amazing anyone would pay over face for a clad token with no intrinsic value. 40% ones have a silver value today of of $8.15 of silver...
