While this is NOT a Dan Carr coin, Dan himself told me that it is an overstrike much like his... (and a well done one at that) Now that I have it in hand there is no doubt that is what it is... what bugs me is the coins condition is so nice.. what "other" dated coin did they destroy to make it...

And most importantly... WTH do i put it? My Dansco 7099 doesn't have a space for an 1815 lol

Could you post a better-focused picture of the date. I'd be interested to not what it's struck over.

As to your Dansco dilemma: Why not start a Dansco "Fake" album starting with the blank pages. There's a lot of product out there you can choose from to fill it up.
