Recently aquired a can of old coins from my mother in law who is almost 92 yrs young. She had these coins saved for years, many from the two uncles and grandma who raised her. They were raised in SW WI on a small farm and never left the area farther than a 100 miles. Yet there were coins from around the world. I have pictured 2 of them here. I just find it interesting they ended up in a tiny town in WI and imagine their journey. Anyone have an insight into either coin? Thanks.

The coins go from mid 1800's to 1776to 1976 Eisenhower's and 1960's Kennedy's. (Mother in laws I suspect on newer and older coins are family coins because she is a real hoarder of "family treasures".) Our small mining town was founded in 1827. Thanks for link expat.
