I believe the 2013 Kansas City star notes are one of the few recent issues that have some value. How much is it worth? Well, that’s like asking how much is a 2005 Honda worth. You need to provide more information like a clear, cropped picture of both sides. The value will depend on the condition and with modern notes, condition is everything. Collectors usually want new, crisp bills. I recommend posting the pictures in a new thread in the Paper Money Forum. I'm also tagging @SteveInTampa because he knows a lot about currency.
Start a separate thread with pictures. 2013 J $1 stars can be quite expensive, and will in each case be worth quite a significant amount over face. @Collecting Nut And, definitely not $1.
So many people asking what there bills are worth looking to flip a quick buck.......If your a real collector YOU already know what they are worth. Not only that but you would NEVER think to sell, you collect for so many reasons selling to make a profit is dead last in this game.

Hello everyone. I found this site while trying to research a Starnote I acquired. I am new to this site and from seeing other posts on this thread I thnk it is safe to post. I work the Graveyard Shift at a Town Pump Gas Station. A older customer came in one morning not to long ago and paid for a cup of coffee with this particular $1 dollar bill. Being a hobby collector, I traded the bill and now am in posession of a circulated, pretty decent $1 dollar Starnote from 1963. Series 1963 A G48486351* (Hollow Star - I read somewhere there is a difference between the filled and the hollow stars on these notes.)
