My Cousin is a semi- collector of coins, meaning he is more of a U.S. Mint Collector. I didnt know how much until recently, I asked my brother (Who doesnt collect) to order a LN6 from the mint. I could of asked my other 2 brothers and 4 sisters to do ths same, but I didnt, because I have morals..

Amyway, I ask my cousin if he really wants it for his family, he says YES, and wont sell it..So I send it to him...

Well, Now I see him selling it on Ebay for 155.00.., He is going to sell it.. He doesnt know I know, Should I approach him?

This doesn't have anything to do with coins....

Absolutely if you sold it to him at cost therefore losing money on the set.

you should buy it from him and just don't pay and then leave negative feedback, that'll teach him :D

Actually I would just make sure I was the winning bidder of that auction, then demand that he give you the profits.

Actually I like Illini420's idea better.

Better watch out trying this. eBay tracks who works on what computer. If your cousin has EVER used your computer for eBay, one of the two of you or likely both will get suspended from eBay for shill bidding.

No they dont. Ebay security is so freaking lax its a joke.

You should make sure you win the auction and then demand he give it back to you.
he will feel like a really big jerk and it will be appropriate.

Just ask Captainkirk what they do and don't do. I even managed to find the thread. http://www.cointalk.com/t46301/

I would definitely confront him and ask for it back or Click on the ask the seller a question link and ask him if his Cousin who gave this to him knows he's selling it, that'll freak him out. LOL

I would confront him and tell him you know. Explain that you had a deal that he was going to keep it in the family. If you had known he was just going to sell it, you wouldn't have let him have it. I assume he just paid you what you paid for it and thus you could argue that he has basically stolen the potential profit that you would have made from it. If he was a truly valued family member I would expect him to solve the problem. But, IMHO...by doing this he has demonstrated what kind of family member he is.

That said, if he refuses to solve this (either by returning the set to you or deciding to keep it in the family after all)...I don't think there is anything you can do about it. A deal is a deal...and you turned the set over to him. It is now his property to do with that he likes. But, what he is doing is certainly morally wrong.

Confront him, say your peace (along the lines of: 'you'crazy or something'), and let his conscience finish talking.

how much do you think it will sell for in 5yrs? I only have 1 set and debating weather to sell it or not in these upcoming holidays, the sale proceeds would be to fund a 06 rev proof eagle I want, but if the premium on LN6 will rise im willing to keep it for awhile and just holdoff on the 06 rev pr.
