http://stores.ebay.com/bestcrystal0...sidZ35432705QQ_trksidZp4634Q2ec0Q2em14?_pgn=1 They always seem to have a nice selection, fair and accurate description, and good pictures. I haven't purchased from them, but I was wondering if anyone has and what they think?
I buy a bunch on Ebay.. Don't know him but looks good at nearly 10K feedbacks with 100% Nice selection...
I've bought from him many times, mostly raw coins, and have been pleased. First rate service, and the few times that I have decided to return the coin there were no problems at all.
Nope but I have looked at their stuff over the years and actually sent them an email commending them on the good pics and descriptions. Not something I do often or even did often but some people seem to deserve it.
I have never bought from them, but I would buy that 22 no D and venture it would be worth a crackout and resubmit. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...akeTrack=true&ssPageName=VIP:watchlink:top:en
I almost thought you were right, but then I looked at the enlargement. There are too many nicks on that to make a 40. 35 is the right grade.
I buy from him/her/them all the time...first rate! The problem is...a lot of deep pocketed SOBs track their auctions and out snipe me:crying:...I haven't won anything from them in a while.
I have looked at his coins a bunch. Very nice with great picks. Don't think I bought one from him though
Speaking of that 22 no D... http://offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBids&item=230399035234 I wonder why he pulled it. Maybe he saw us talking about upgrading it, :goofer:
Dang! From my other post Today.. It looks like I could use that coin.. He pulled it Quick.. See this Junk I found in this weeks search... I only have Three holes in my Lincoln set.. Those three holes that haunt me....
I'm sorry. I missed posting the link to the new listing; http://cgi.ebay.com/1922-No-D-Linco...mQQptZCoins_US_Individual?hash=item35a4fe0db4
With a 100% rating on 9600 auctions you can't go wrong plus this guy has an awesome inventory in his store.
He's not kidding about the strong reverse. It is very nice and eye appealing. Nice coin although I agree with the PCGS grade of VF35 based on the obverse.
The seller states in his listing; Although not graded by the reverse alone, he is basically correct. The obverse of these coins is so weak that it is very difficult to use any wear on the obverse as a guide. Having said that, the biggest reason I agree with the grading is because of the obverse marks or at least they are most notable on the obverse. IMHO, there are just too many marks/nicks/baggies to call this coin XF.
A while back, he had an 1877 IHC listed that Rick Snow outed as a very high class fake. He immediately took it down when Rick contacted him. I've looked at his auctions pretty often and never seen anything that I could ID as counterfeit.
