Checked $100 in halfs - found these 3: 2x 1964 & a 1958.

*Definitely* going back to get a few more rolls - I usually only find a 40% per $500 box, at best!

@furryfrog02, sell your 40%ers and buy a decent stock that pays quarterly dividends

Stocks have been very good to me over the last year...30% net gain. Far better than earning 0.1% interest in a bank savings account. I have used some of the gains to buy more US silver coins, and reinvested the remainder.

 

got my coins,box of nickels are apparently all newhas anyone found anything good in a bunch of new coins?like say a war nickel in the middle e.t.c

 

^^Anyone?found a few wheaties so far in the cents.

 

In all honesty, I've had similar luck at work recently. I've seen enough 2021P nickels and Salt River Bay ATB quarters to make your eyes bleed.

 

Only finds today,sort of disappointing but I at least found something.The 1945 S is promising its at least AU has luster.

 

I bought 10 rolls of quarters. I received 7 Chuck E Cheese tokens and 2 rolls were shorted a coin.

However a couple of years ago we bought several boxes of halves. We found 24 ‘64s. 31 ‘65-‘69s. 7 Franklins, 4 Walkers and an ‘07 Barber. We also found 4 no FGs

My wife was like a little kid since she uncovered most. Haven’t scored much since

Look for those nickels with the W’s that they forgot to deliver in those (non proof) sets or contact meow

 

I did the only keeper I was lucky enough to find a 1958 the oldest one after that a 1964 but I at least keept one roll of the new's.

Meow has not CRH anything but quarters for quite a few months hoping for W quarters. As far as Meow knows only Tallgrass Ws where distributed in the local rolls when searching 2020 rolls. So today Meow was unable to find anymore Tallgrass rolls today at the bank. So reluctantly chose to accept 20 Tuskegee rolls instead, knowing there are no Ws in them. Meow was planning on keeping all the reverse showing rolls intact, and open the obverse showing ones and choose the nicest ones and put those in a plastic roll. 11 rolls kept intact and put into the Cat Hoard. But one of the obverse showing rolls was actually a Tallgrass roll. And it contained 2 Ws in it. Meow has so far not ever found 2 Ws in a roll before. Good chance it was the last Tallgrass roll Meow will ever find in paw from the bank. And it was a very lucky one. It was a good day for CRH Cats.

 

Already off to a good start.

 

Box of nickels,all new again so I'm going to take a break from them for a while.

 

Even though they were all new,I decided to do them anyway and only found this.Not the type I want but I guess I'll keep it.

 

Meow would just keep it for the Cat Hoard.
