Does anyone have the production numbers on all the Westward Nickels as well as the Westward Journey Nickel sets?

I know the Coin and Medal sets were 25,000 and 75,000 for the 2004 & 2005 sets.

    Thanks

I guess the question is should we buy several sets now???

Considering the popularity of the first set, i would think that with the mind set of the min tto make as much profits as possible, they would mint more sets this year to satisfy a bigger demand - Just like with the coin and medal set going from 25K to 75K... i only bought one of the 6 coin nickle sets this time.

But then again, this set would have the first coins with a change to the front of a coin....which I think would make they very collectible!!!

I bought 10...4 to keep and 6 to sell off when the market fetches a good price!

I only bought 4 of the first sets.

I thought of that touchekidd, but i just dont think that will matter. I figure that the mint will sell a whole lot more sets this year then they did last year, and by shear numbers alone i just dont think this set will fetch the post-production price last years did....

....and with limited budget -- i have to spread out what i buy multiple of..... this years was the buffalo nickle rolls, made good profits on those, and the marine coin and stamp set.... again nice profits.....

Buffalo Rolls...I think we are all going to eat out profits on this one....even though its a nice coin.....the mint is still selling the 2 roll sets and even the bags....I heard this is the highest selling coin the mint has ever sold. I think we are not going to see any gains on these sets.....I am sitting with 50 of them.

I bought 10 sets, and near the begining, the mint had said 'unavailable' for a couple weeks. I was selling my sets for $40 each - it helped alot that my sets were stamped 2-10-2005 - earlier then any of the others sets i have seen on Ebay. I made all my money back that i paid for the sets plus profit - and i still have 5 sets left. Like you mentioned - because the mint is still selling them, they might not sell for much even after the mint stops at the end of the year - but the early mint date combined with the strong strike normally assosiated with the early mint date might help my sets get a little higher price - if not, its still ok - im not too greedy, i made my money back allready =)
