Just in case anyone is interested, the coin sold yesterday on eBay via no reserve auction. The final sale price was $202.50.
I remember talking to John J. Pittman at the 1986 ANA Mid-Winter Convention about Canadian coins, specifically 10 Cent pieces. He said he still had a $100 face value mint-sealed bag of 1948 Canadian 10 Cent pieces, and that if he ever opened it he would sell me one.
