With PCGS setting up showcases, I decided to give it a try and make one too. One set back is that only PCGS coins are allowed and TrueViews are highly encouraged (which means quite a few nice coins can't be included). Luckily I did have ten coins that I really like and a good deal of my box of 20 was able to be included. A lovely set!! I’d say you are pushing it a bit if the Dominic Rep coin would be called toned - but the 1 Ultime France toning is brilliant!
Thank you! The Dominican Republic coin is very slightly toned so I agree it is pushing it (but it's all I have to get to the minimum requirement-no others have TrueViews).
I like the presentation and (as you know) can appreciate the broad interests you have. Series collecting of multiple coins of the exact same design is for the birds.
Thank you! And agreed about series with the same design. I do wish this showcase had a third category to mix US with world (or allow other TPGs-although I see why PCGS would not want that if they are showcasing their own holder and photos).
