Here is the 2009 Freedom/Tea Party Liberty Dollar. All comments and opinions are accepted, and if there are any questions, I will try to answer them to the best of my ability. Enjoy!
Sharp medal T$, it is very possible this medal is one of the last that will be made by Liberty Dollar. It is very lustrous with tremendous detail. :kewl:
Also thanks for pointing that out, WLHalves This is NOT a coin. Definition of coin: a piece of metal stamped and issued by the authority of a government for use as money. It can be called a medal, Liberty Dollar, Norfed Dollar, but not a coin. And it would be sad, to see this as a the lost coin, minted by them Yes indeed...These were made, with a more "silvery" tone to them, unlike the 07-09 copper Norfed Dollars... Also, these Tea Dollars are more lustrous, than the others... Quite an amazing coin
interesting medal. although... I'm tired about hearing of the tea party, haha. However I do like how they portray it as a tea kettle
 Be careful, or else you might send Von Nothaus to the pokey! :mouth: Seriously though, that's a very nice piece. It's also fully struck, unlike the past issue of copper dollars.
Dangit! I catch myself doing that all the time, and I guess I just messed up here! Thanks for pointing that out!
I bought one of the packages of Norfed paper money and silver dollar a while back...before they shut him down. I still get emails, but I don't respond...I'm afraid the govmint will break down my door and try to confiscate my Norfed dollar. Btw, why wouldn't these things be classified as "tokens"...vs. "medals"?
I guess it could go either way, I think we'd have to have the actual numismatic definition of each, to classify it correctly. But as long as you don't call it a COIN, it should be alright
