Now I have noticed several times that when in this froum reading different post..that when you go to a e bay listing in the forum that has been posted the next time you go to E Bay a funny thing happens....a huge set of listings just happens to pop up! IE lets say you in the fourm and someone has put up an e bay link on a coin..... or what ever ...but now I'll use a Morgan silver dollar some one has a question. leave the froum and see what happens... Now I'm not the paranoid type...but for some reason this really bugs me! As I feel like e bay is sping on you! And to me it should be illegal! Back in the late 50's & 60's some "movie houses" Thats what we called them in those days .....durring the film would put in a few frames of a lets say a box of pop corn later a few frames of a nice icey coke or soft drink.... making you go buy first the pop corn then a drink..... this was called subliminal flicks...it made your subconscious want the items you saw but realy did not see.....so to speak.....it was illegal and the practice was stopped. Now the listing are not subliminal....but I'm guessing e bay got its cookie spies deep in each of our computers.......How do you feel about this? Is it spying? is it legal? Should it be legal? Try it our in the froum...go to a posting that has an e bay link then close out and go to e bay......see what happens........kind of creepy What say you?

just because one morgan dollar caught my eye doesnt mean i want to look at another dozen when i decide to search something else. that goes along with about every other piece of .... ebay has to sell.

e-bay like most sites now use tracking cookies to try and give you" pleasurable browsing experience" sometimes can be very annoying, about all you can do is delete the cookies often...on internet explorer go to the tools menu on task bar, click on internet options and delete cookies.

Actually, there have been times when I find it helpful. eBay automatically searches for similar items. Sometimes it shows me something I'm actually interested in. When that happens, I kind of like it...otherwise, I just ignore it. I could always disable "cookies" if it really bothered me.
