I was watching this video a while back, and the thought struck me last night. I wonder if this would be possible to use on coins. Perhaps only high dollar coins, such as ones in the millions, or hundred thousands. But I think it would help buyers see the coin they are dropping big money on a little better. http://www.doobybrain.com/2009/06/04/360-degree-nikon-rig-with-48-d700-cameras/
Hmmm? positioning the coin, holding it in position for would be a challenge. Each camera would probably need to be focused independently to take best advantage of the depth of field potential. Lighting would be interesting as well, so the exposure on each camera might be different as well. Let me know how you do it! :smile
or have the coin rotating an opposite direction that the cameras would be picturing - top to bottom while cameras are photographing side by side.
