2008 Uncirculated Dollar Set

    What are your thoughts on the 2008 Uncirculated Dollar Set? To still be on sale this late in 2009 it must be relatively unpopular, but it does have an uncirculated ASE ...

    They probably made way too many of the 2008 Unc ASEs and don't want to melt the rest. They gotta stop selling them at some point...you would think.

    Well since they didn't make a 2009 version there is no reason to stop selling the 2008 coins until they run out. Heck they sold the proof 1999 P SBA dollar for four years before they finally quit, and I'm not sure if they managed to sell all 750,000 even then.

    I bought one and it had 2 spotted dollars. I didn't return it but 1 of the dollars was pathetically bad. I think that this set was unpopular b/c of the price but it does come with a "W" stamped ASE which is really cool. Those WestPoint ASE's don't come around that much. :kewl:
