$20 large cent set gets it's 1st "Holed" coin... and i'm excited!!!

    Yeah got one tonight I never expected to see in the $20 lc set....
    1823!!! with a hole lol... I think i can live with it lol....

    Nice coin. Not holed for a necklace
    Based on the position of the hole.
    People used to drill small holes so they could tie them with string and hide them in the Linings of their clothing.

    Did you snag that other 23? I stopped at 55 for the pair...(gotta stick to the rules lol) the 19 was scarred badly but to get that 23 would have been worth it.
