My second sestertius, also a type that I love to add to my collection showing an activity! not only that, but this coin minted around 116 AD also represents the peak of Roman hegemony! Obverse shows the bust of Trajan, laureate, draped, right, and the lettering: IMP CAES NER TRAIANO OPTIMO AVG GER DAC PARTHICO P M TR P COS VI P P. Reverse depicts Trajan seated left on platform flanked by a prefect and a soldier, addressing the three kings standing before him, and assigning them kingdoms. Can anyone tell me who these three kings supposed to depict? Although looks like it came out of a ploughing field, I was lucky to have found this coin on ebay from a small European seller for around 25 bucks!
Cool! I posted my example a couple of years ago, including some speculation on the identities of the three kings: https://www.cointalk.com/threads/tr...ing-middle-eastern-kings.319123/#post-3121042
