Got this raw for $35, its relatively problem free. It's got a couple scratches/gouges on it but nothing super crazy. What do ya'll think, did I overpay for it? Would you buy it for that price or hold out for a better/more expensive example?
$35 isn't bad at all its got pretty nice detail for being in as good condition as it is for 220 years old.
I bought this for $50 I choose lower grade but its got original smooth detail and not corroded you did fine for your example.
OP coin looks like S-221 the corrected fraction (which like a lot of lower condition examples doesn't really show the corrected fraction well.) Potty's coin is S-214
Top one only cost $25 not bad for XF details that green stuff hasn't moved since I bought it basically a year ago.
