Just would like to point out that I was merely quoting a news article from 1973 as well as the slogan on the coins (and not making any political statements or conjecture about possible ulterior motives for any programs.)

I need a meme of George Bluth (Arrested Development) in prison with the "No Politics" text (instead of "no touching")

The symbolism of this coin is represented HERE

    https://www.bceao.int/fr/content/pieces-en-circulation

The two coins have a common face on which are engraved in relief, the logo of the BCEAO, the stylized sawfish and the inscription "CENTRAL BANK OF THE STATES OF WEST AFRICA", affixed on the crown.

On the reverse, the patterns represent the main agricultural export products of the UEMOA zone (peanuts, cocoa, coffee, and cotton) for the 500 FCFA coin and the main food products (millet, corn, bananas and rice) for that. of 200 FCFA.
