    I think the eye appeal should out weigh the strike on this one. The steps look more like a ramp. :woot:

    I had another comment about steps/stairs but I will have to refrain. :angelic:

    Hard for me to tell if that is damage on the rim below OF on the reverse, but a beautiful coin. I'd give it MS66 if that rim is just due to the photo.

    A beautiful coin with great toning! I went MS-65 due to the reverse. I think the reverse was struck by a worn out Die.

    I went with 66*. Pretty coin. Love the color on the reverse.

    I went with 65 star ....I gave it the benefit of doubt regarding the star (even though NGC often doesn't give it)...something about the coin made me think 65 (did not seem higher for some reason)

    Oh cut me some slack here. I know nothing about nickles other than it should have been Madison on the obverse, and not Jefferson.

    I think thats common on war nickels,its like %95 of them at least have a lam for example.
