    Love the 10 stuivers...

    Holland

    Utrecht

Had to cheat a little with Zeeland, because they didn't issue the 10 stuivers. In its place, it would seem a close approximation to size and content - they issued the 1/4 silver daalder or quarter silver ducat. They were the only province to officially mint this denomination of trade coinage.

and then the Dutch West indies... doesn't seem they issued the 10 stuiver, they did issue the gulden and the 1/4G.

Nice coins. The Holland coin should have been in that post for full bodied women on coins.

Thanks guys. I've found the 1/2 gulden to be quite a bit more difficult to find than the 1 gulden. But the 10 stuivers fit in so nicely with my 2 Reales!

My favorites are the Holland and the Zeeland coins, but the Utrecht piece has great tone appeal to it. Very nice and original.
