    These were all part of a partial walker liberty set that I purchased. They are pretty worn, but I payed melt for each coin, so I think I did ok.:smile These were the semi-keys included. 1916-d. 1917-d obverse mm. 1917-s obv mm. 1919-s. 1923-s. Opinions please on grades and approximate value would be appreciated, as I'm not really familiar with this series.

    Nice coins, and excellent photos. Walkers look great in almost any grade, imo.
    In order, my (inexpert) grades are: AG3, G4, VG8, G4, VG10.

    I hope you enjoy them! A while back, I started this thread, featuring Worn Walkers. Please feel free to post your favorites!

    Not that I have a clue what I am doing, but my guesses are;

    1916-D = AG-3
    1917-D = AG-3
    1917-S = G-6
    1919-S = AG-3
    1923-S = VG-8

    I think the numbers we've seen so far are close, with one significant exception, namely the 23-S. I grade them as follows:

    16-D AG-3
    17-D (Obv) G-6
    17-S (Obv) VG-8
    19-S G-4
    23-S F-12

    In terms of value, under the current market conditions (Walkers are down more than other series), I'd say that they're all in the $10 to $15 range, i.e., better than melt, but just a bit.
