$5 at least its a star note but condition is so-so i would still keep it though its from 1963 thats old.
Yeah I’m going to keep it new to the hobby main focus is coins but it’s my first star note. It came from Dunkin’ Donuts ha thanks
Definitely worth more than face. It's been well preserved for a 50 year old note. I suggest keeping it, but if you really want to sell it, but it up for auction on Ebay and see what people will give you for it.
Welcome to CT @clejosh. If you are getting into currency collection, please note that condition is just about everything. Unless it is a rare or very special note, the condition of the note is most important. Folds, tears, pin holes, stains, etc. immediately reduce the value. In your notes case, it is a star replacement note and many collect those, but its condition isn't the best, so I wouldn't pay anything over face value for it, but others might. I'd put it in a protective sleeve (sold at stores that carry coin collecting items, like Hobby Lobby, and online) and hang on to it because it is a low denomination note. Good luck in collecting.
Though it has a cool factor of being from 1963, the condition isn’t the best and that would prevent it from being worth anything other then $5, if your in a pinch you could always buy a couple of tall boys with it
