I'm just not paying their insane price increases. That's my only determining factor. They can either come back to reality or they can sell it to the dealers and the dealers, if they want my type as a customer, they will need to come back to reality and sell it for bullion price, maybe with a slight markup. I'm not paying $300 or $600 for a graded silver eagle, I'm not paying $73 or more for a silver eagle or $105 for a 7 coin proof set. So they can do whatever they like I suppose the hobby will continue with older coins that they can't do anything about and their sales can be more like the Canadian or UK mint and sell a few thousand of anything a year. The scammy coin dealers will get the hint when their demand drops also for these modern mint products that are overpriced.
It's the new design. Come summerish theyre switching over to the new reverse so there will be one of the old and one of the new for pretty much everything
The schedule shows: 2021 T1, Bullion was released early in 2021. I bought a graded one on Jan, 30th. 2021 T1 W, Proof was released on Feb. 11th. (21EA) 2021 T2 W, Proof is scheduled for "Summer 2021" (21EAN) 2021 T2 S, Proof is scheduled for "Summer 2021" (21EMN) 2021 T2 W, Uncirculated is scheduled for "Summer 2021" (21EGN) 2021 T2 S & W, Rev Proof Set is scheduled for "Summer 2021" (21XJ) But who knows? Things keep changing.
I only wish all collectors felt like you and I do. I am not buying any of the new stuff. Just one of the new design to have the change. But, I can get one 2 or 3 years from now after the new wears off. I also think that collectors like me will have some treasure to sell when new collectors start looking for the old type. We can unload our reserves.
No idea for the enrollments (I'd guess needing to make a new one) just know it's a design change causing the second issues
