1883 Morgan Dollar Slabbed - It was graded but i recieved it as a gift..

    I am nowhere near an expert at grading, but I would say AU 55-58. Value $23-$25.

    It's a common date. I can't see any wear, just a somewhat weak strike. The coin looks dipped [cleaned]. I'd say it's probably MS62 and worth about $35-$40. If it was a gift, did the gifter tell you how much they paid or was it from someone's collection?

    FYI, I am not an expert grader. Hopefully the real talent at CoinTalk will show up soon and offer a better opinion.

    I would say AU-55 - AU-58, with a possible cleaning, but I'm far from an expert.

    There are some pretty deep dings on the coin, as well as some wear.
    I'm going to say AU58, with a possible cleaning, as Cloudsweeper, and Rollhunter suggested.
    Value is around $20-$25
