Picked up these two 1982 NGC MS 66 Jefferson Nickels, at the same time. One is The Denver mint, and the other is Philadelphia. They are more difficult to get in high grade MS, inasmuch as 1982 and 1983 had no mint sets. So, they came from regular sources, not special handling. As per NGC population, there are only 7 MS 67 P graded and only 1 graded 66 FS. There are only 5 MS 67 D graded, and 1 66 FS. They both have light, attractive pale golden toning.

1982 happens to be my son’s birth year.
