So a coin dealer sent me this picture and offered to sell it to me, the dealer in question isn't an ancients dealer so he knows very little about it.

The images aren't the best and some parts of it look off to me especially the horse but I'm not an expert so can anyone tell me if this is genuine or not because at the moment I'm more towards it being not.
I was given no weight/diameter or any references.

I think you've pretty much answered your own question:

    - Coin's weight not provided
    - Diameter/size not provided
    - No provenance/references
    - Unfocused, blurry picture from which it's impossible to discern detail
    - Dealer claims not to be knowledgeable about ancients

That's five strikes, and only three are needed for a strikeout.

I don't think the dealer knows so I'm going to tell him, his shops fairly well known to modern collectors I would think (in the uk anyway) and they do have thousands of coins listed but no images as you have to ask for them

I usually try not to comment on authenticity based on an image, but the coin in that image looks like a fake to me.

I should have been clearer in my original post. I was NOT providing any sort of definitive opinion on the authenticity of the coin, but rather that in response to your (implied) question of whether or not you should buy it, the answer is a clear "no."

Sorry for the lack of clarity.

Personally, however, based on the blurry picture, I am also skeptical about its authenticity.
