Ouch 63 at best its been through a lot but it survived strong.

My lot is cast with MS63. However, historically on most of the GTG posts I have been low.

    63. A few bagmarks, but nice luster. Nice looking common date Peace Dollar.

I went 64...looks to be frosty and lustrous, which I think helped offset the hits on the cheek and Eagle

The reverse looks gem to me, but the hits on the obverse are right in the focal area and the overall mushiness of the obverse strike also prevents a gem grade. I say MS64.

A nice common date BU coin. I have it in the 62-63 range but those marks are deep on the cheek but she drips with frost and luster. MS63

I think the chatter, especially on the face, and apparent shelf wear, would drag down the grade as it is a distraction, so I'm with MS62.

The die wear is contributing to the glow on this one, accentuating it.

64? some marks on the face and eagle but not too bad and pretty clean fields and "cakey" luster.

It was the luster which sold me on it. That, and the fact that it’s in a pre-prong-era NGC holder. (I have an irrational aversion to NGC’s white prongs.)
