1964 D Quarter

    This quarter looks weird to me because it's a goldish color. From looking at the pics does it look like it's toning or do you think someone spy painted it at one time. Also what would you grade it?

    It looks to me that the silver has toned a bit. The pics aren't good enough to use for grading though.

    The coin is AU.

    1964-D ANYTHING is very common. These quarters command no premium other than the silver content.

    The grade is of no importance because it's common 90% silver of the most common year - that is it's value.

    I agree with bhp3rd! but a gem bu toned & 1964-D was rainbow toned,like this 1983-D Kennedy would carry a premium.or a 1964-D type C reveres
