Hi guys, I recently bought this Morgan, because I noticed the Diechip on the second "8", and not wanting to turn down a possible un-noticed VAM, I picked it up for cheap.
There aren't any Die cracks that I found, and through some online research I found that it is common for 1889's to have doubled ear. Although, this doesn't seem to have that.
    any suggestions?
Let's guess the grade as well.

    Hi Shawn,

I would suggest VAM-7 myself with the high "9" and chip. I can't see the neck well enough to eliminate 7B. You might look for the clash mark.
