Nahh man, it probably got what's called "grease filled die ". It could be an overpolished die . Who know's ?

72D was notorious for weak devices. Some are grease filled other dies were over polished. This one was over polished.
The grease-filled device will eventually harden like a rock and fall out. The dropped filling is sometimes pressed into a coin. It's called "Struck Through Dropped Filling". https://conecaonline.org/glossary-of-error-variety-terms/
