Just A Little Off Center

    Double Die I know just enough to be dangerous

    A nice 1958 ? Off center strike. If it weren't for the scratch in front of Abe's face and edge ding, I'd consider sending it in to be graded. After carefully dusting some of the years of loose debris off of it first. But I don't have to worry about it now.

    Nice. It's hard to find Off-Center struck Wheats. A dated one is even better.

    But even without the scratch it would not be worth it to attribute it.

    1958 is a pretty common date. Could it possibly be worth more if there was the mystery of not knowing what date it is because there is a chance of it being a low mintage or something? Lol.

    Wouldn't that be like finding a round, flat hunk of steel and conning everyone into thinking that it is a 1943 cent?

    well... I still like it. I am sure the dated ones bring more money.
