???DAMAGED OR TRUE ERROR???

    I’m no expert but in yalls opinion, what’s goin on with this dime
    I have a couple more pics but it’s almost like I can make something out but then again..... isn’t that a leaf on his nose?

    DEFDAM - Definitely Damaged
    The clad layers were affected by extreme heat.

    Not a Mint Error of any kind.

    Welcome to CT @RichGame. As already mentioned, it appears to be a coin subjected to high temperatures, distorting the surfaces, but certainly a nice conversation piece. I'd sure hang on to it. Good pocket coin.

    Thanks for the quick response guys! Curious how the original shine and luster remains after such high temperatures I mean I went red hot with this one

    Watched a video someone uses a true blow torch and now makes sense Unfortunately I can be a see it to believe it guy occasionally
