I was just wondering if someone could give me some information on the value of this coin. It is a 1861 T sitting liberty Confederate States of America Half Dollar. A friend of mine has it, and had asked me to try and find out some information on it for him. So any information would be helpful. Thanks!

Thanks for the information, Boy my friend sure is going to be disappointed. He thought he had one of the four. His has a T next to the date, you don't happen to know what that is for do you?
Now, Why cant a person ask a simple question without someone having to be a smarty about it. The asking of the question should imply that I don't know the answer or I wouldn't be asking the question. RIGHT! And I quess its all to easy to play on someone elses ingorancence, isn't it. Now that in itself is too funny don't you agree. Maybe Ill go somewhere else for information.
