I'm pretty certain there is wear, so I was debating 55 vs 58....not sure if the luster is quite enough for a 58 but I gave it the benefit of doubt and guessed 58
Wear is evident on the high points, but not much. Depending on luster, this could go 55 or 58 (I voted 58 in the poll).
I voted 55 in the poll because of the wear. I'll bet it has some nice luster to it. Could easily go 58 depending on the day but I can't see a MS grade.
I'm at an AU-58 as I see a tiny amount of wear on those high spots. I'm not a fan of that dark toning but she is a Bustie and you can't beat a nice looking one. I'd add to my collection but I have an 1834.
I'm guessing 55, minimal wear but I always have trouble guessing luster with toned coins. looks great!
I am not real familiar with the series as far as grading , with that said I do not see any wear I would say MS-63
Ok, reveal. Most got it right. It is definitely AU 58. I agree with the grade. Has very nice toning in hand.
I'm not sure how easy it will be to see on a phone, but look at the cheek, points of the stars, top of the eagle's left wing, talons, and points of the arrows. The lighter spots there are from the wear.
i agree that there are very small wear spots in the high points. I see it clearly on both my iPhone 12 Max, and my iPad Pro 11”. It is very light, but I agree that the coin is not MS. It is close, but no cigar. Love the coin for its nice detail, and toning.
A 187 year old piece of history and she does not look like she rolled hot off the assembly line yesterday. I can live with that.
