Congratulations Paddy! I haven't been a member as long as you but you have posted some wonderful coins and metal detecting finds. I always look forward to your posts.

I'm beginning to think that you don't need to work. Just hunt for money in NYC and you'll be fine. Lol

 

Thanks.. I joke around with my wife and tell her that this year is my last year of work. I'm doing full time metal detecting and FOG hunting

She says to me... No!

 

You'll make more money but she'll have to keep working to provide the medical benefits. My wife and I both joke like that as well. It makes the marriage healthy.

You know the funny thing is, I've used them in NYC countless times. I live only an hour from the city. However, when I use them I only use my credit card. I never actually took notice of the coin return. Thanks for the 411

 

If I can't put a coin in one and turn the know I can't work it. I didn't even know they made solar meters. Oh how I love the quiet country life. We don't have any meters.

 

No solar, credit card meters where I am either. An hour north of the city is like another country.

Today in my front yard.....

 

Looks like my back yard. Another 3" today. No sooner than the roads are cleared, driveway plowed and walkways shoveled another storm comes in and drops more. Come on spring!!

 

SAME. EXACT. THING. HERE. ALL. FEBRUARY.

FIC - Found In Coinstar today..

Kmart. I thought I found a silver quarter. It was a dirty 199X

 

FOG.. Walking to out Church for Wednesday night prayer service

 

FIM for today.. $1.25

 

Am I surprised? No. Am I jealous? Maybe. Are you the money finder? Obviously.
Are you getting richer every day? Absolutely. Am I setting up a spy network? Could be.

 

Looks like it's the beneficiary of more than just coins.

 

Tomorrow Thursday I am taking a ton of metal detected coins and all the fog, fim and fic to a Coinstar I hit twice a year.. I will post the results of the totals when I get a chance!
