Let fly with your Flyers here!

These two 1857 Flying Eagle cents are nothing special- just a pair of average circulated examples I was uploading pictures for.

The highest certified example I've owned up to now was XF45, although I have owned one which had UNC details, but was holed.

I like the way these look in VF-XF or so. This particular pair aren't that high, but they're... OK, I guess. I got them in a trade last December.

This one has an old hairline scratch near the 12:00 position and some small marks, particularly around the eagle's head, but is otherwise a reasonably decent circulated example. The eagle's eye shows.

This one is free of major problems, but is weakly struck on the obverse, affecting the upper portion of the legend as well as the eagle's head. It is otherwise an average circulated example with reasonably good eye appeal for a lower-grade piece, in my opinion.
