This Is A Mintmark?

This is one messed up mintmark. Looks like 3 D's were punched into it. I tried but couldn't get a clearer photo.

Can't tell pictures aren't good enough.

 

It could be the end result of this.
This is a winged D in the primary stage.
It was named that because the chips looked like the wings on a mercury dime.

 

I would like to see a close up of the MM without the flip plastic distorting the image.

 

It looks like an aardvark mark to me! J/K!

 

Me too, there are quite a number of RPM's for this date
