First, I am surprised that of all the members on CT, that @paddyman98 gave me my 25,000th like. I'm only surprised because I was saving this coin, an error, and he is an error collector. Unbelievable to me! This has not been graded and I'm not sure I will do so. The only drawback is the fingerprint by the date. The coin is amazing in all other aspects. It's bowl shaped except for the 2nd strike. It's on a zinc planchet but hardly any zinc shoes. It's such a small area I doubt it shows in my photos. In the 3rd photo I took it next to a regular Cent so you can see the size difference. I put a Nickel under the Cent and was shocked that I couldn't see the Nickel. In the 4th photo I put it on top of a quarter and all you can see is the rim of the Quarter. The last photo the Cent is taken next to the Quarter. An amazing coin and a great error to have. I'll just have to live with the fingerprint.
Thanks Paddy! I have more free time with CT now that I'm retired. I just play with coins, rocks, fossils, gems and antiques. I was working so much at the post office 9-10 years ago that I bought but never opened the psckages. I haven't even gone through half of what I have at this point. Everyday is Christmas.
Thank you. At times it is overwhelming. My wife has a hard time with it but then I remind her it's mine, all mine. Her reply, just until you die. Then we hug while laughing.
