My teller at the bank said she got 6 rolls of quarters from someone who had a relative die. I bought them and they were from 1965 thru 1996. Most in AU or MS condition. Is ther a reason for me to keep them, other then they are cool? Lol! An example is below.
I recall that '83 quarters are especially valuable in AU/MS grade - compared to the rest of the non-silver series. Edit - this article briefly explains why '83 quarters are somewhat of an anomaly in the series: https://www.pcgs.com/news/three-modern-coins-you-probably-did-not-know-are-worth-saving
So that's 240 quarters ($60 FV) right? If you are interested in selling let me know what kind of price you think would be fair (via Personal Message, not here) and if the price is fair I would like to purchase them (Maybe via ebay listing or something) I've been pulling any quarters before 1998 from circulation for a while and stockpiling them and I would love to have some of these nicer examples in my stash If not no big deal, just thought I'd offer
Dang, Beardigger..... My gut tells me those need to be spent. Problem is, I am like you. If those turned up in my change, I would give them their very own flip and tuck them away.
I guess it all depends on your budget and what you feel comfortable putting aside. Keepers for me at face value.
